Wednesday afternoon, during a special meeting of the Copperas Cove ISD Board of Trustees, the board approved a reconsideration of previous action.
During Wednesday's meeting, the board voted 6-0 to approve the replacement of two HVAC units on the Williams/Ledger Elementary School cafeteria through Rabroker for $54,933.00.
This vote supercedes the June 10th approval of a $78,585.00 quote from AirCo during the board's regular June meeting, providing a savings of more than $23,000 for the district and its taxpayers.
No other action was taken.
The board is next scheduled to hold its regular July workshop & meeting. The workshop is scheduled for Noon on July 14th & the regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. July 15th, both in the Board Room at the District Service & Training Center on South Main Street.
